It features state-of-the-art medical facilities, including a trauma room, pharmacy, and full-time medical staff, ensuring the highest safety standards. Create a Mitzvah Project
Make Your Projects More Meaningful with JRV
There are so many ways to do a mitzvah for sick children in Israel. If you are interested in a Bar/Bat Mitzvah project, a school project, a community project, or a birthday fundraising campaign.

Project Suggestions
- Asking guests to make a donation in lieu of gifts.
- Donating a portion of your gifts.
- Hold a community fundraising event – such as a Gaga Tournament, a bake sale, or a performance.
- Make lanyards to hold nametags for all kids, volunteers, staff and parents.
- Create clay pendants as a thank you for volunteers and gifts for campers.
- Write letters to campers and volunteers.
- Write an article for your local paper or post on social media.

Offering free, medically supported, year-round camps for children with chronic illnesses and disabilities, the Village transforms lives, strengthens families, and fosters unity across communities.
As a member of the AFJRV Board of Directors, you’ll:
- Support life-changing programs that bring joy, confidence, and healing to thousands of children annually.
- Provide hope and respite for families navigating the challenges of chronic illness.
- Champion inclusivity by fostering connections among children from all backgrounds—Jewish, Arab, Druze, and more.
